Seal-box Pendant. From Fayoum, Egypt, The bronze and enamel original formed a seal-box in the form af a lotus flower. Seal-boxes were used to protect the seal of packages in transit.Collected by General Pitt-Rivers and formerly in his museum at Farnham. Now in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Length 33mm
