Solid Bronze Celtic double twist pendant

Description

This solid bronze Double Twist pendant is inspired by the Ipswich Torc Terminals seen on the ends of the solid gold Celtic Torcs found in 1968 in a field in Ipswich.

A Torc is a large circular necklet formed of twisted wire, the ends of which were highly decorated. I formed this by hand using tapered wires. The pendant measures 75mm high, 42mm wide and weighs 78gm. It is pictured in aged solid bronze and is also available in a bright finish. Supplied on a 24" gold plated chain.
